THWARTSHIPS - At right angles to the centerline of the marine vessel.
TIDE - The periodic rise and fall of water level in the oceans.
TILLER - A bar or handle for turning a marine vessel's rudder or an outboard
motor.
TOPSIDES - The sides of a vessel between the waterline and the deck;
sometimes referring to onto or above the deck.
TRAWLER - A recreational or fishing vessel originally designed for the
purpose of operating a trawl, a type of fishing net that is dragged along
the bottom of the sea. However now also a cruising recreational boat that
resembles a fishing trawler.
TRANSOM - The stern cross-section of a square sterned marine vessel.
TRIM - Fore and aft balance of a marine vessel. |
